tinyRF Remote Media Controller
This is a project I have wanted to start for quite some time now. I finally feel confident enough to do the system level, component and PCB design that is needed to implement the project.
So, what is the tinyRF Remote Media Controller?
It is a Handheld 2.4 GHz Wireless Streaming Media Player that can search for music as well as create playlists on the fly. The media will be transmitted from a Base-Station connected to a PC via a USB port. The actual Media Controller will be implementing a touch screen placed on top of the same LCD as the Sony PSP.
Base-Station Design Criterion
- Full Duplexing Transceiver
- Adjustable Tx Power
- USB OTG (Used for file transfer as well as query commands)
